Services offered
Weekly individual Counselling for Adults on a short and long term basis
My approach
My core approach is based on the Psychodynamic Model of Counselling which gives you an opportunity to reflect on your past, present and future and together we can try to gain an understanding of these in a meaningful way for you. You will have the space to explore and understand the thoughts, feelings and emotions you are experiencing with an independent person.
Counselling can help to explore personal issues and concerns including Anger, Anxiety and Stress, Depression, Eating disorders, Family relationships, Bereavement, Loss and separation, Sexual issues, Relationships issues, Workplace issues – Bullying, stress, relationships with colleagues and Trauma.
Counselling will take place at your own pace in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. We can work together to explore the possibility for change within areas of difficulty and this can be achieved within a number of short sessions or within a longer time frame.
I offer an initial one hour assessment where we discuss why you are seeking counselling and to establish whether we can work together and explore the best way forward.
