One to one individual counselling
My approach
During an initial assessment session we can get to know each other and gain an understanding of your needs. We can discuss whether or not you may wish to continue with counselling and for how long
We all have times in our lives when we feel distressed and burdened by our problems and it can be a relief to talk to someone who is outside the situation
I work with a high emphasis placed on listening to you and understanding your situation. I work to create a safe supportive space where you can focus and explore issues which may be difficult to talk about at sufficient length elsewhere. There will be an opportunity to explore patterns past and present. This may help to increase your understanding and awareness of how you think and feel with the opportunity, in counselling, to be supported through changes you may wish to make
